As I’ve gotten older, I’ve appreciated Christopher Reeves’ acting a lot more. He manages to bounce back and forth between Clark and Superman and makes it feel like they’re two different people. A lot of other actors who did Clark basically just played Superman with glasses.
Also, the premise of this movie was brilliant. Superman deliberating over whether or not he should intervene in destroying the world’s nukes is a very Superman thing to do. The studio ended up turning it into a cartoon to appeal more to the kiddies which is what sank it.

Yeah, this movie really COULD have been good. But Canon doesn’t want to make good movies. They want to make fast and cheap movies. But the concept is good.

“Requiem for a Dream” was another movie Jared Leto was good in but it was a hard watch.
