For my Night One coverage, check HERE! After having not seen any full, live episodes of Raw or Smackdown in several years, I found my first dive back in–the Smackdown Draft Night–to be highly entertaining. I was pleasantly surprised by the overall quality of that episode. Could Raw keep up the momentum? And wow… Raw is REALLY three hours long these days, huh? I know … Continue reading The 2020 WWE Draft: Night two (Monday Night Raw)
Another week, another comic book storyline to review, fanboys. This time around, I’ll be discussing the classic Spider-Man tale that ran through all three primary Spider-Man titles (Amazing Spider-Man, Spectacular Spider-Man, and Web of Spider-Man) in 1987, Kraven’s Last Hunt. Now this story was published just two or three years before I was old enough to get into reading comics, so I had missed out … Continue reading Stew’s Reviews: Kraven’s Last Hunt
I really dug Wolverine as a kid. I can actually remember why that was even the case. At the first inkling that I was going to start getting into comics, my dad told me that Wolverine was a great character, and that I should follow his and the X-Men’s adventures. I read the day-after Raw and Smackdown reviews and see how upsetting everything sounds. Who … Continue reading The 2020 WWE Draft: Smackdown Night One Coverage

Here’s moving into the realm of Image Comics for this week with a review of the “Confessions” story arc from Astro City! Speaking of confessions, here’s mine right off the bat: I got into Astro City far, far too late because I am a terrible and … Continue reading Stew’s Reviews: Astro City – Confession
Welcome back, comic fans, to Stew’s Reviews! When last we reconvened, we discussed the merits 2005’s morally ambiguous (if a bit too rapey) mystery story from DC, Identity Crisis. Today, we’re shifting over to the Marvel side of things and taking the Delorean back to 1978 to remember the time the Avengers were given the worst CPR ever. The Korvac Saga, which ran from Avengers (volume 1) … Continue reading Stew’s Reviews: The Korvac Saga
