NOTE: This review will contain spoilers for Clerks III! I was surprised when I had started hearing good things about the third installment in Kevin Smith’s Clerks franchise. I know Clerks II is somewhat divisive, and I don’t personally recall having cared at all for it (though it has been years since I watched it). I heard such abhorrent things about The Jay & Silent … Continue reading Clerks 3 Review

At the start of the yar, I had a dream that I would hit 300 individual movies watched by the end of December. Turns out, I’d only need a little over ten and half months. Three-Hundred has been achieved! NOTE: This article will contain minor story aspect spoilers, but nothing revealing the ending or anything like that! I initially had heard that Glass Onion–Rian Johnson’s not-quite-a-sequel to the 2019 hit Knives Out–was going to be Netflix only, and I have to admit: that left me feeling disappointed. I was a fan of the last offering, and I was hoping to be able to catch … Continue reading Glass Onion Review

The original Halloween movie is very sneakily probably the movie I have seen more than any other. It seems weird, but I watched it a lot as a kid, and even as an adult I watch it with some regularity during the Halloween season. So usually at least once more with each passing year. Every fall, the leaves change, the weather gets colder, and I … Continue reading Ranking The Halloween Movies

Phew, what a hard hitting film this is! Showing the everyday struggles of any lower middle class family living in today’s world. We meet the father who is landing what sounds like a dream job being a delivery driver. The boss makes it sound like he’ll be his own sort of private contractor (where in reality, he’s working for the delivery company and gets pushed … Continue reading Sorry We Missed You review
I’ve been sitting on this idea for SO LONG! You see, SEVERAL YEARS AGO, when I was doing my previous podcast, my then-cohost and I were asked to guest star on another podcast for their Pod V Pod challenge. Those challenges had two quiz rounds, followed up by a draft challenge. The draft for that episode was Best Non-Disney/Pixar Animated Movies. I had a blast … Continue reading Top Ten Non-Disney Animated Movies
