FOR PREVIOUS BUFFY REVIEWS, CLICK HERE! I can’t believe I’ve done three whole seasons of this show so far. Let’s see where season four takes us… We start the season off with Buffy and Willow sitting in a graveyard and selecting classes for their first semester at UC SunnyDale (wait, they are attending the University of California? And it has a SunnyDale campus? Okay). Behind them, … Continue reading The Last Of Buff: A BTVS Retrospective, S4 E1-2
Alysa and Creed drove the truck toward the highway and out of sight; in case they were being watched, they wanted to appear as though they left the area. Once they parked the truck on the side of the road around the bend, they trekked back to the compound on foot, arriving at the rear of the large fenced-in building. “Picking anyone up?,” Creed asked. … Continue reading AP Productions: Winghaven #17
The teen sex comedy is a genre that has felt dead for close to 20 years now, and honestly? Not much of a value was lost. Not to say there weren’t some really good flicks under that umbrella, but when it was revitalized in the very late 90’s by American Pie, several movies came out to capitalize on that wave, and the returns were incredibly … Continue reading Bottoms Review
The man stood under the awning just outside the cheap motel to get out of the rain. He kept going back and forth between looking at his phone and leaning forward to get a good look at the parking lot. After about fifteen minutes of this, he saw a familiar car pull up. When the woman parked, she rushed outside with an umbrella and met … Continue reading AP Productions: Winghaven #16
WWE and NXT Legend Tyler Breeze stops by the Order to discuss a very 1990’s movie: Lori Petty’s starring vehicle (pun!), Tank Girl! Also: apologies for the audio here. I had to record a new way than what I usually use, and there is an occasional… clicking noise? Not sure where that came from! I’ll test some things out for the next time I record … Continue reading Episode 75: Tank Girl
FOR PREVIOUS BUFFY REVIEWS, CLICK HERE! Two-part season finale time, everyone! Buckle in because I hear this show gets SUBSTANTIALLY worse next season! We lead off with the newly re-friended Xander and Cordelia (actually, given their history, this is the very first time they’ve ever been actually, purely friends), with Xander lamenting he is likely about to die. Buffy and Willow join up with him to … Continue reading One Heck Of A Finale! A BTVS Retrospective, S3 E21-22
Well, my Buffy The Vampire Slayer retrospective as a first time watcher seems to be going along pretty well. Why not start another show? My intention was originally to wait until I was done with Buffy before starting anything else, but then I realized two things: First, content is still king, and I am quickly about to hit my wall on pre-written material. And secondly, … Continue reading Stealing Jokes From 1999: A Young Justice Retrospective, S1 E1-2
FOR PREVIOUS BUFFY REVIEWS, CLICK HERE! EPISODE 19 We open with Faith and The Mayor, and the latter has given his new protege a gift: a very fancy dagger! He wants her to do him a favor and go to the airport to pick something up for him. She initially balks at such a menial chore, but he lambastes her for her insolence and calls … Continue reading More Bad “The Ascension” Jokes: A BTVS Retrospective, S3 E19-20
Calvin from The Magic Number Is 3 When It Comes to TV is back ONCE AGAIN! This time he tries to pick another less than stellar movie, Josie & The Pussycats. Does he succeed?

FOR PREVIOUS BUFFY REVIEWS, CLICK HERE! Buffy is out hunting! One of my two favorite ways this show opens! She is battling two fleshy monsters who don’t have mouths. Hey, is this that silent episode I hear so much about?! Neat! She kills one, but the other gets away. The dead one bleeds white-out for some reason? It absorbs into Buffy’s skin and vanishes, which … Continue reading I Write A Haiku: A BTVS Retrospective, Season 3 Episode 18
NOTE: Definite Spoilers below for Unwelcome (and two other older Shudder movies–Dawn Of The Beast and Night’s End–actually)! I love a good tonal shift in movies… as long as one of two things are true: -The first being that the movie juggles multiple tones effectively, and nothing really feels out of place in the universe that the film set up. -Or the second: the movie … Continue reading Unwelcome Review
It’s time for more TMNT reviews! This time, it’s the key mooks of Shredder during the early seasons of the 2012 Nickelodeon series. DOGPOUND/RAHZAR (Chris Bradford) -Rocksteady & Bebop were initially not used in the 2012 Nick Toon- instead, Shredder’s top henchmen were two human goons- Chris & Xever. However, both were very quickly turned into mutants themselves. Chris Bradford, voiced by eternal villain Clancy … Continue reading Jab’s Reviews: TMNT (Dogpound, Fishface & Tiger Claw)
Ninja Rap Is Born as Stew and 7CZ from the No On 15! All-Cast discuss the [rushed?] sequel to 1990’s hit, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!

It feels weird starting off with even number episodes. Stupid Xander! This is all your fault, too. We start off with that Anyanka demon lady talking to her… boss, I guess? He is reprimanding her for losing her powers, and she asks for them back. He says no, which is just sensible. You can’t have your demon minions just losing their jewelry willy-nilly. She decides … Continue reading A PlayStation Commercial… Errrr, A Buffy The Vampire Slayer Retrospective, S3 E16-17
BROTHER BEAR (2003):Written by: Tab Murphy, Lorne Cameron, David Hoselton, Steve Bencich & Ron J. Friedman -I figured “what the hell?” and rented this one- it’s one of the latter-day Disney films, and didn’t do to well or get very well-received, but it’s… okay. Ish. It basically has some cool set pieces and one VERY awesome transformation sequence that reminds you how mind-blowing this studio is, but … Continue reading Jab’s Reviews: Brother Bear
